In accordance to Learning Conferences 2008 in Chicago, many lecturers and scholars have agreed that the competition for job acquisition and job sustainability is becoming more and tougher so that students are left with no choice but to add values to their hard skills with soft skills to exhibit their true potential.
In Vietnam, there are many articles mentioning students are lacking of skills before applying for a job after graduate. Therefore, hard skills are academic skills, experiences and expertise while soft skills are their self-developed, interactive, communication, human and transferable skills. Literature suggests that had skills contribute to only 15 % of one’s success while remaining 85% is made by soft skills.
